Brushing Up on Single Variable Calculus

If you need to brush up on your single variable calculus, here are the sections of Smith and Minton's "Calculus" that we rely on in Math 251. Starred sections are especially important.

2.1, 2.2, 2.3, 2.4, 2.5**, 2.6, 2.7, 3.3, 3.4, 3.5, 3.7, 4.1, 4.3-4.5, 4.6**, 5.1-5.4, 6.2

The material from Chapter 4,5,6 is used in Math 251 Chapters 13, 14.

Info Re Exam I

Exam I will cover 10.1-10.6, the parts of 13.6 and 13.7 just on cylindrical and spherical coordinates (ie not integration) and 11.1.

Info Re Exam II
