You will certainly want to rename the file proj3-outline.tex to something like proj3.tex. The Unix command mv will do this:

mv proj3-outline.tex proj3.tex

As you read the outline, please note that a statement such as "Explain such and such" is an instruction to you. Don't write "Explain such and such" in your writeup. Write the explanation instead.
