This subject of this is course is an introduction to the qualitative analysis of ordinary differential equations and dynamical systems.
Differential Equations and Dynamical Systems by Lawrence Perko will serve as the main textbook for this course. We will cover approximately half of the book, consisting of chapters 1 and 2 and parts of chapter 3.
Topics will include:
Prerequisites: MATH 225, MATH 301, MATH 302 or permission of instructor.
Course grade will be based on performance on frequent homework assignments throughout the semester.
By enrolling in this course, each student assumes the responsibilities of an active participant in UMBC's scholarly community in which everyone's academic work and behavior are held to the highest standards of honesty.
