Textbook

The textbook is Mathematical Models by Richard Haberman. Its contents are divided equally among the topics: Mechanical Vibrations, Population Dynamics, and Traffic Flow. We will cover most of the book.

Prerequisites: Math 221 (Linear Algebra), Math 225 (Elementary Differential Equations), Math 251 (Multivariable Calculus).

Homeworks and exams

Homeworks will be assigned in class at each lecture. Homeworks assigned during week n will be collected on the Thursday of week n+1. They will be graded and returned to you.

Your course grade will be based on:
