Welcome!

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Maryland at Baltimore County. I finished my Ph.D. in Mathematics (Probability) at the University of Wisconsin, Madison under the supervision of Thomas G. Kurtz with my dissertation on "Multiple scaling methods in chemical reaction networks." I was a postdoctoral researcher in the School of Mathematics at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities during 2008-2011 and in the Mathematical Biosciences Institute at the Ohio State University during 2011-2013. My research interest is stochastic modeling, analysis, and simulation of biological systems, in particular, biochemical networks. The other interest is modeling of cancer signaling pathways.
