Manil Suri is a Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics
at UMBC. His primary research interest is the theory of finite
element methods and their applications to PDEs. He joined the department
in 1983, the year he obtained his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from
Carnegie-Mellon University.
