Dr. Kang obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of California, San Diego in 2005. From 2005 to 2009 he was a Zeev Nehari visiting assistant professor and then a postdoc associate at Carnegie Mellon University. His general research interests are in probability theory, stochastic processes, and their applications.
