Pi Mu Epsilon

Pi Mu Epsilon is the national mathematics honors society. PME currently has over 350 chapters at colleges and universities throughout the United States. The purpose of the society is to promote scholarly activity in mathematics among the students at academic institutions.

At UMBC, our chapter is dedicated to helping provide an infrastructure for our undergraduate mathematics and statistics majors. We host informational sessions and panels about aspects of mathematical careers, and are developing ways in which our members can support each other in their studies.

For more information on PME, our events, or the process of joining, please visit our myUMBC group at http://my.umbc.edu/groups/pme.
